A small wedding in Bunmahon, Waterford

There was one good thing about lockdown restrictions: it made us embrace the charm of an intimate wedding.

Eileen and Gavin tied the knot in an cute small ceremony at the visitor centre in Bunmahon, by the Copper Coast in Waterford, surrounded by their closest family.

After the humanist celebration, they had a lovely reception with some homemade scones and tea.

The beach by the visitor centre is airy and peaceful. Even during a sunny summer afternoon, there were very few people, which matched the private nature of the wedding. It was the perfect location for a wander with the couple and a great backdrop to take portraits.

Eileen and Gavin’s wedding was a great example of how to celebrate love with a special, private celebration that’s just as unique as any other.
